For my 2D animation I have done my proposal, storyboard and made everything to start my animation

For my proposal I have included a working title, the medium to be used, the target audience, indication of style, summary of content size of product and the inspiration.

I have called it 'Retronimation' because it is like a retro video game animation so it was a clever word play mixing retro with animation. The target audience is for 15-30 because it has retro games and a newer game. It was hard choosing an indication of style but I said it would be a sci-fi animation because its not real and 2 of the games look like they have aliens in them. In the animation a man will walk up to a retro arcade game player and play a range of games that include 'Doodle jump,' 'Pong' and 'Pacman.' I hope the piece lasts about 15-60 seconds. Finally my inspiration came from playing old video games and I wanted to make an animation of some of my favourite basic games.

On my storyboard I have included the different shots I would be doing, like one shot of the person walking to the arcade, 3 of the menu's then 1 of each game. I have put in a description so I know what to do in each scene and put in the audio so I know what sounds to put in and if I gave it someone, they could easily make an animation of what it says on the storyboard.

This is my Final 3D animation: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HcCqo6FQ1_8&feature=g-upl

So far in my 3D Lego Star Wars animation I have animated it but had to redo it as the 1st one was very jumpy, blurry and too fast so it was very hard to understand what was going on in the animation.

I then made a second animation to improve the quality, make it a lot smoother and slow it down so it was more understandable and you could see what was going on.

I have also done a Storyboard and a proposal which you can find in an older blog

I had used istop motion a few times now so I found it very easy to use and learnt something new about the quality when taking the pictures for the frames so it would be better quality which I can put in a later animation.

Animation idea's

Today I have made a story board on my chosen 3D animation which is a Lego Star Wars battle. I had more than one idea at 1st though like a Lego football match or a reenactment of the hare and tortoise.

These are my 1st idea's for 2D and 3D, these are basic and not gone into detail yet.

These were then what I wanted to do for my final idea for 2D and 3D and I have shown where I want it set, who i want in it, what will happen for both of them.

I then made a storyboard for my Lego one so it can show what will happen within it, the different shots I will use for different scene's and I have explained what will happen not just shown then have included what sounds or music I want to involve in each scene.

I have also made a background to make my 3D animation with so it looks like star wars, I had some cardboard and glued some black paper to it then splatted yellow and white paint on it to make it look like space then printed off some pictures of planets and added it to my background.

Today I have made a powerpoint on a proposal to make a 3D Lego animation.

It is going to be a Star Wars battle from Lego I have at home. In my Proposal I have included: Working title which is Lego Star Wars series: Jedi Base Battle. I have included a medium to be used which is Lego animation.

I've also included a target audience which is pretty much anyone who likes Lego or Star Wars but mainly for kids. the Indication of style is a comedy slapstick.

I have included a summary of content which is The Sith going to a Jedi base and challenge them to a battle. The size is between 15 seconds and 1 minute. I have also got my inspiration from Star wars because I've liked it since I was a child and like the Lego Star Wars games.
